WildCondor is a health care journalist, activist, Lyme disease patient advocate and  Lyme disease support group leader. Her dramatic story has been featured on the Discovery Channel and the Learning Channel's "Mystery ER" which chronicles her bitter fight for survival through a nightmare of complex medical diagnoses. WildCondor saw over 50 doctors on her quest for a diagnosis, and was deemed a "medical mystery".

WildCondor was misdiagnosed as having Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS), Fibromyalgia (FMS), Addison's disease, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), Multiple Sclerosis (MS), and countless others. Determined to seek out the true cause of her vast array of symptoms, she researched various chronic illnesses on the internet and began to read into the possibility of Lyme disease. The more she read the more things seemed to make logical sense. WildCondor had had dozens of tick bites in her life, all of which had been dismissed by her onslaught of doctors. Wild Condor had essentially diagnosed as having a "symptoms" because chronic fatigue always has a cause.

Finally, after suffering needlessly for ten years, WildCondor's Lyme Literate Medical Doctor (LLMD), Dr. Joseph J. Burrascano Jr., discovered she had been infected with Lyme disease, Ehrlichiosis, Babesiosis and Bartonella infection. By the time she got in to see Dr. Burrascano, she was completely disabled, and had zero quality of life. Dr. Burrascano was her guardian angel, and his experience with tick-borne disease treatment saved her life. After 5 years of appropriate antibiotic treatment, and Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT), WildCondor  made tremendous progress. After learning so much about medicine first-hand, WildCondor is now training in the medical field and will soon be helping other patients receive the strength and support, and find the tools they need to regain their health. Stay tuned for updates, 2013 will be a busy year.
